Cownado is an independent game studio based in Italy, founded by three childhood friends. Its mission is to build awesome games with simple gameplay.

History

Cownado is an independent game studio located in the northern part of Italy named Valle d'Aosta (a place mostly populated by cows). Founded in 2014 by three childhood friends, it has released its first game in Q4 2015, Frank the Dillo, a hybrid miniature golf/platformer set in an Arabian 1001 Nights-like imaginary world. Following Frank the Fillo, in 2016 they released a free to play multiplayer Pong/Breakout style game named Dawn Of Ultra Pong, The studio pillar is to develop games with a simple and fun gameplay, with a glimpse of the 80s and 90s masterpieces that they loved as children. Cownado uses its internally built 2D engine named friGame, which is optimized for HTML5-based games and free for the community to use.

After succesfully releasing 2 mobile games, their focus has shifted to the PC platform, and they are currently working on a multiplayer party game named Space Beaces. Long live the gamers!
